Jazz Ensembles

JAZZ ENSEMBLE I/II: These organizations give band and orchestra students an opportunity to study, rehearse, and perform works beyond the material studied in band and orchestra. These ensembles concentrate on jazz, ballads, rock, and Latin styles. Jazz Ensemble I/II rehearses before school two to three times a week and have several performances both in and outside of the school day. Membership is open to any students taking band or orchestra (guitar/piano exempt). An audition is required for Jazz 1, which occurs in late May.
