Educators Rising

Educators Rising is a powerful, passionate network of people committed to developing highly skilled teachers for the 21st century. It is the only national pre-collegiate program for prospective teachers. Clubs have been established at many district high schools and middle schools to foster student interest in pursuing careers in education. Facilitated and inspired by a dedicated teacher leader, club participants gain a realistic understanding of the nature of education and the role of the teacher. They have opportunities to: Explore education pathway careers, earn scholarships, participate in college conferences and college visits, serve as peer tutors, deliver lesson plans, and have fun with youth!
Mission: Educators Rising is cultivating a new generation of highly skilled educators by guiding young people on a path from high school through college and into their teaching careers. By working with aspiring educators who reflect the demographics of their communities and who are passionate about serving those communities through public education, Educators Rising is changing the face of teaching.
Vision: A clear pathway in every school district in America for young people who want to serve their communities as highly skilled educators.
